A Worn Path

The story the worn path is about a old black lady that has a grandson and lives in the woods far from the hospital every time the grandson would get sick she would travel a path far away to get the medicine for her grandson.That she wanted to keep her self from tearing her clothes so she would look alright when she got there. The old lady finally got there they treated her with racism the people in the waiting room and the nurse.the old lady got the medicine because the doctor told her if she went there that she would get the medicine .the nurse gave her the medicine she turn around and the attend offer her a penny she took the penny and the nickel that the guy in the woods drop and bought her grandson a paper windmill.
